Onshore, Wellstream’s proprietary FlexSteel™ unbonded flexible steel pipe uniquely combines the manufacturing, transportation, and installation advantages of flexible pipe with the reliability of steel pipe and the corrosion resistance of polymer liners.
Ideally suited to applications such as oil or gas gathering lines, injection lines and water or fuel transfer lines, the design of this product has drawn on Wellstream’s proven design tools, methodologies, and design factors from years of offshore experience.
Current product range is 3-inch and 4-inch to 900 ANSI and 6-inch to 600 ANSI.
Equally suited to above or below ground applications, FlexSteel™ may be installed by means of conventional ploughed, trenched techniques or modern trenchless techniques such as horizontal directional drilling, making FlexSteel™ useful for pipeline rehabilitation activities.
