Wellstream do Brasil Industria e Servicos Ltda a wholly owned subsidiary of Wellstream Holdings PLC announces the receipt of a contract from Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) with a value in excess of £40m for the provision of water injection and gas lift flowlines and risers for the Marlim Leste (P-53) development offshore Brazil. This contract forms part of the Wellstream 2008 Heads of Agreement with Petrobras currently under negotiation.
